In 1993, Amy began working at a Stationery Store in Bridgewater, NJ. She then got promoted to run the store they had in Short Hills. Amy enjoyed working there, but once she graduated college with her Bachelor’s in Business Management, she went to work in corporate America. She continued to work at the stationery store part time because she had a passion for it. Unfortunately being under new ownership, the stationery store closed down. After a couple more years, she really missed the stationery business and did not see her future being in corporate. In 2006, Amy worked long and hard on a business plan and with the help of her husband Tom, came up with the name of Cherish the Moment for her stationery store. They found the perfect location in Morristown, NJ.  Amy and Tom, worked long and hard on renovating the store to make it a warm and inviting store. Cherish the Moment opened in June 2006.

In 2008, Deana started working in the Morristown location. Deana had worked in corporate America and had since left to raise her sons. After some time working here, Deana came to love stationery and the creative aspect of this business and wanted to make it a career. So Amy and Deana discussed it and they became business partners. It came at a great time as Amy had a baby girl in May 2009. They are working together to make Cherish the Moment even better than before. The new website is just one of the new exciting initiatives they are working on.

Cherish the Moment has become a regular place to shop for so many customers. Amy and Deana always look forward to seeing those special customers return again and again.  There are many customers that they helped with wedding invitations and then later their birth announcements and even 1st Birthday. They look forward to continuing to see these customers and many new ones and always being there to help them with their special events.
